Breeding a foal demands an incredible amount from a mare. The gestation period, the birth and subsequently the milk production require energy and place heavy demands on her body.
One mare is soon standing freshly beside her foal again after foaling, while another needs a bit more time to recover her energy and condition.
During this period it is extra important to pay close attention to:
- Energy and fitness – the needs can change significantly around and after foaling.
- Nutrition – a suitable ration is important to meet the increased demand.
- Resistance – the body has been through an intensive period.
- Muscles and body condition – physically too, the mare has asked a lot of herself.
What can Unique B30 add?
Unique B30 Health Booster can be used as a short nutritional course during periods when a mare could use extra support.
B30 contains a broad combination of vitamins, minerals, trace elements, amino acids and antioxidants which among other things contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism, muscle function and the immune system.
B30 is during 5–10 days a month given and can easily be sprinkled over the food.
It obviously does not replace a good diet or veterinary guidance, but it can be a fine addition to that during this intensive period.
For after all the attention given to that new foal, the mare herself deserves at least as much attention.
Complementary to regular care and veterinary guidance.
